The BCA 8 ball League of Niagara Falls will be open to register
Teams after August of 2017, this is the first time we introduce
BCA rules in this city as a Pool League, once the team spot is reserved
with a cash deposit of $ 150.00 then we'll form the A Division.
First meeting will be called at Grand Central on August 26 2017 after 5 pm till 7 pm where questions and answers will be provided, if you need to know sooner get in touch by texting at (905) 401- 5755 and I'll get back at you ASAP.
Signing in of teams will be till we have even number of teams 6-8-10-12-14
or until the Division/s has been formed. PS. Don't wait and get in.
As I understand some locations will be putting teans in both leagues and that is perfect, however we play just BCA rules and all we need to agree is when. This meeting will show who is and who is not playing, pass the word to other players about this web site and given the number. The league number will be ready after we know how many teams we start with.
We need to do this very quick as time is calling, if we get this together and the 8 Ball League takes off, later on will have a 9 Ball as well
The League represents the Selected Bar Owners and players across the City of Niagara Falls. Our mission is simple.
To promote and organize competitive games between the different divisions participating in our league, keeping scores, the league is set to have fun, compete and to respect our fellow members and sponsors in the game of Eight and Nine Ball.
Promoting your bussines is our bussines, we have the experience and expertice to handle all type of tournaments with Digital Equip and charts, pics, videos, etc.etc.
For the owners that wish to add a webpage to detail their menues, specials, events, pictures, etc. etc. the service will be available for a small fee, also cue repairs on site by appointment

Entry fees for this league are $400.00 plus (the members will decide at our first meeting ) per team and we are looking at one division for now with 12 teams in it or more.....you may have a minimum of 10 players or 20 maximum, the cost is the same...prize distribution 25% of the field
Tournaments held every other week alternating between 8 and 9 ball all singles if posible and demand warrants.
Proposed pay out with a full roster
First place will pay $1600.00
Second place will pay $ 1000.00
Third place will pay $ 600.00
Fourth place will pay $ 400.00
This prizes are subject to membership
We the executive aim to bring back the the pride of winning and the prizes
The game is intended for the players that favor BCA rules because these rules are hassle free and are universal all over the world, beginers are to learn from the better players and medium to advanced players becoming their teachers by association and willing to pay to play and is played on (TBA).....good luck and lets rock!!!!!!
Entry fees for tournaments
All tournaments will be singles with $ 20.00 for 8 Ball and $ 20.00 for 9 Ball entry fee for this league members and $ 5.00 extra for non league members, no Elite, semi pro or pros are allowed to play.
The Tournament Director reserves the right to deny entry to whom is not local or has no one to vouch for. (just trying to protect the locals)

Tournaments to be held at sponsors bars, preference will be given to added money bars with two or more tables. Side Action may be in if enough players.
If tournament demands it, there may be a couple or more of hight end tournaments with money added and a higher entry fee for those who are very competitive........Calcuta is a given...... keep your eyes on this !!!!!!! May have to have cap on number of players.
Tournaments format will be:
Rack your own, alternate breaks, brake from the box and best 2 0f 3 games in 8 ball double elimination and/or best 3 of 5 games single elimination and same for 9 ball games. TBA, not in stone yet.

Scores to be reported ASAP after game
or called at (905) 354-7491 (after we form the league) and leave a clear message with a clear description of the score (who vs who) and leave your number if we have any questions
The executive will add the points for playing the game, there are no forfeits of nights....players will play with the players from their roster and give away the games that they have no players for!!!
If the both captains agreed and both teams are short of players, each captain may designate what player may double up from the opposite team just to keep it fair (none of the best players routine) or stacking the team

Format
- 1) EACH TEAM WILL HAVE A CAPTAIN AND /OR CO-CAPTAIN AND THEY MUST HAVE A WORKING PHONE. IF THERE IS A CHANGE THEY MUST LET THE EXECUTIVE AND BAR OWNERS SPONSOR KNOW ASAP.
- 2) CAPTAINS MUST SUBMIT A STARTING ROSTER BEFORE THE SEASON STARTS WITH THE PLAYERS FIRST AND LAST NAME CORRECTLY SPELLED. (NO NICK NAMES)
- 3) THEY MUST BE IN CHARGE OF LEAGUE MATCHES AND SEE THAT SPORTSMANSHIP IS BEING OBSERVED.
- 4) THEY MUST KEEP THE SCORES, AND KEEP TEAM RECORDS & CALL SCORES IN TO LEAGUE NO LATER THAN THE SAME WEEK.
- 5) SPONSORS, CAPTAINS, AND PLAYERS WILL HAVE AN UNDERSTANDING REGARDING ANY PRIZE WINNINGS AND THE DISTRIBUITION OF and let the executive know in writing to avoid issues.

- 8) NOTIFY THE LEAGUE IF YOU HAVE ANY CHANGES IN YOUR ROSTERS. Up to the date allowed (TBA)
- 9) Doubles divisions will start at 7:00 pm on with a 15-MINUTE grace (only if team has less than 10 players). you can't be waiting for one of your better players, if you have 10, the match starts. (it is expected that consideration for teams travelling a distance during the winter will be given in respect to grace period.)
- Same will apply in Singles if applicable

Rules 8 & 9 Ball
action during league play
- 1) 8 and 9 ball is a very competitive sport, but also a fun sport. the league is set up for both.
- 2) therefore, unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated.
- 3) there will be no physical contact or verbal abuse before, during or after matches. any offense will be strickly dealt with by the league executive.
- 4) any problems will be dealt with by the players and/or partners that are playing (with use of rules), AND THEN if still having a problem, call in the captains (no one else). as a last step, call EXECUTIVE.
- 5) the two or four shooters playing the game must be present at the table (STABLISHMENT).
- 6) only the players/ partners playing the game may coach each other. No coaching in singles.
- 7) captains may only interpret the rules, and only when asked by players shooting.
- 8) not one word from anyone involved with the two teams competing
- 9) only players on you team roster may play for your team. any team who plays someone not on team roster (& it is reported during the season) will forfiet the complete match for that day, and stats will be adjusted to reflect the change.
Foul calling
- 1) only players playing in a game may call a foul. either opponent must see & call the foul immediattely. if not, the shooter may continue to shoot. No delayed foul calls, must call foul before next shot takes place.
- 2) when a foul is called, all play stops, if the shooter continues to shoot before the foul is RESOLVED; the penalty is loss of game.
- 3) when a foul is called, it is up to the players who are playing the game to solve it by the rules. if still in conflict, they may call in their captains to help with the rules. if the foul CAN NOT be resolved, one re-rack will be accepted.
Protests
THE CAPTAIN OF THE PROTESTING TEAM MUST INFORM THE CAPTAIN OF THE OTHER TEAM (BEFORE THE END OF THE NIGHT) THAT HE WILL BE PROTESTING THE MATCH.
ALL GAMES PROTESTED MUST BE WRITTEN UP BY MIDNIGHT before Friday, BY EACH CAPTAIN. THE CAPTAIN WHO IS PROTESTING WILL HAVE THEIR PROTEST HANDED TO THE EXECUTIVE WITH $ 50.00 CASH, BY MIDNIGHT Friday, or forfeit the protest. The $50.00 is refundable if the protest is awarded in your favour. The opposing captain will have his written version handed in to help solve problems. the executive will solve complaints by the next Friday night or ASAP.
league game format Doubles
- 1) each team has five /or ten different players to play one frame.
- 2) one frame will consist of five games.
3) each game will have one or two players from each team.
- 4) each night will have 3 or 5 frames of five games TBA yet.
5) captains will exchange their lineups simulta-neously before each frame.
6) it does not matter if teams match up against the same opponents as last frame.
Paying for the games
The home teams are responsible for putting the money in the pool table for the games, or leave table open for access to balls.
racking the balls:
The home team will rack their own and break first and it will be alternating breaks thereafter with each team racking their own game, subject to aproval from the opposing team
Breaking the balls:
•1) Home team breaks first rack, at least 4 balls must hit the cushions for a legal break, or a ball pocketed. if not, balls will be re-racked by home team, & opponents have choice whether they want to break or not.
•2) If shooter interferes with any balls on the table by tossing cue or touching balls before opponents admits loss, automatic loss of game.
